How to Purchase "Seasons of War"

Daniel Sutherland's book Seasons of War: The Ordeal of a Confederate Community is out of print.  You can purchase a copy from an Amazon re-seller with a credit card.  Please order your book at least four weeks before the course begins as most re-sellers do not offer expedited shipping.  You should be able to get a new copy or a used copy that is just like a new one for between $8 to $15 dollars, delivered.  You can often get one that has some degree (maybe a lot) of wear for $5-7.


For copies of the book that are like new, try the first two links below.  These books should not have any markings on the pages, dog ears, damage to spines or cover whatsoever. By Amazon standards, books sold as "new," "like new," or "very good" should have totally clean pages.  But double check the book's condition by reading all the text in the "condition" column.  Also check the "seller information" column.  Sellers that have sold over 1,000 books and have a 93% or higher purchaser rating are usually very reliable.
